Sangarsh brings over 20 years of senior-level experience in risk and information management, data analytics, modeling, financial technology, commercial lending and product development at leading global banks.
Before founding bluCognition, Sangarsh was SVP & Chief Credit Officer of Global Commercial Payments at American Express Company. In this capacity, Sangarsh was responsible for all charge cards, credit cards, commercial loans, working capital and merchant financing solutions. In addition, Sangarsh was a voting member of the Institutional Risk Management Committee of American Express where he contributed to managing all key risks within American Express including market, operational, fraud, liquidity and reputational risks. Sangarsh also has extensive experience working with external regulators and he was the primary liaison representing the commercial part of the company with the Federal Reserve, FDIC and OCC.
Sangarsh has always believed that sound data hygiene and advancing analytical tools such as machine learning and AI within organizations are key to their efficient functioning which in turn delights consumers and businesses served by those organizations. He is passionate about helping organizations fully leverage their data, produce data-driven insights, leverage the power of machine learning and integrating AI into their platforms to create superior solutions.
